At The Edge of a Clear Cut

At the Edge of a Clear Cut is a 2 minute  Adobe After Affects animation taken of changing skies over the Okanagan forests. It not only represents the threatening times that are upon us in the regions of the world where unsustainable forestry practices have added to the effects of a changing climate, but in general, refers to all of humankind’s activities where we are at the edge of forever upsetting the balance of nature resulting in an unstoppable escalation of devastating storms, floods, forest fires and climactic disasters.

The vertical Instagram/Facebook story or Reel format of the animation is used to intricately link it to our time in history.
